Form Deck

Permanent formwork for concrete slabs without composite action

Form deck is the workhorse of floor construction. Form deck is used extensively as an economical form to support concrete slabs during erection. In some cases, form deck eliminates the need for expensive temporary deck shoring.

Form deck is available in lengths from 6 feet to 40 feet. Please check with your local New Millennium facility for lengths outside these parameters. Form deck holds a yield strength up to 80ksi. Refer to the Steel Roof and Floor Deck design guide for the minimum yield strength for each steel deck type. Contact New Millennium for availability of higher yield strengths when required or use our deck specification tool to view load tables with commonly available non-standard yield strengths and/or gages.

UL- and ULC-approved and listed in the UL and ULC Fire Resistance directories.Conforms to ASTM A1008/ A1008M for uncoated and painted deck, and A653/A653M for galvanized deck. Meets required steel deck certifications in accordance with Steel Deck Institute (SDI) specifications.
