The profile of Deep-Dek® produces the steel deck’s strength as well as its underside appearance. Available in standard and cellular configurations, Deep-Dek® metal decking can create a dramatic deep-fluted or smooth underside surface with subtle shadow lines. Optional acoustical treatments mitigate ambient noise.
Standard Deep-Dek® Roof Deck
Standard Deep-Dek® roof deck is a single-cell (hat) unit that provides a support surface for various types of roofing materials. The strength of Deep-Dek® steel decking ensures impressive span and overhang capabilities, making it ideally suited for long, open interior and exterior spaces.
Deep-Dek® steel deck produces a deep-fluted look for a dramatic underside aesthetic. Deep-Dek® and Deep-Dek® Acoustical roof decking eliminates unsightly side-lap screw penetrations.
Deep-Dek® Acoustical roof deck combines sound-absorbing features and factory-applied coatings to achieve a desired finished ceiling aesthetic while meeting stringent acoustical and structural requirements.
Deep-Dek® roof deck is available in lengths from 6 feet to 40 feet. Please check with a New Millennium facility near you for lengths outside these parameters. Our steel deck conforms to ASTM A1008/A1008M for uncoated and painted deck, and A653/A653M for galvanized deck. Our roof deck also is approved by UL, ULC and listed in the UL and ULC Fire Resistance Directories.
Refer to published tables for the minimum yield strength used for each steel deck type. Contact New Millennium for availability of higher yield strengths when required, or use our steel deck specification tool to view load tables with commonly available non-standard yield strengths and/or gages.

Cellular Deep-Dek® Roof Deck
Cellular Deep-Dek® is a double- or triple-cell (hat) metal deck unit with a liner panel that creates a support surface for various components. The strength of the profile of Cellular Deep-Dek® roof deck provides impressive span and overhang capabilities, making it ideally suited for long, open interior and exterior spaces within steel structures.
Its liner panel, with self-aligning nestable side-laps, provides a finished ceiling aesthetic with concealed fasteners. Sound-absorbing features and factory-applied coatings combine to give Cellular Deep-Dek® steel decking a desired finished ceiling aesthetic while meeting stringent acoustical and structural requirements.
