Louisiana Children’s Museum

Louisiana Children’s Museum’s compound-slope roof provides a distinctive aesthetic. The distinct roof design gives the museum an architectural flair that required 1,075 sheets of Super Versa-Dek® 6.5 LS Acoustical roof deck. The acoustical roof deck used achieves a noise reduction coefficient of 1.00. The exterior perforations on the exposed acoustical deck are blocked with a metal cover to prevent air escaping or entering the museum.
